Hey thanks man, I'm sure I will be able to find something local for sure. The impeller is brand new, lucky for me we can still purchase that threw one of our local hobby shops. Could have been though...

Thanks guys for the tips. You got me thinking I should throw a few more strands on there now though.... I did find that the screen thing I had on was doing an awesome job with all the weeds and such...

Keep in mind before even putting anything on the bottom I've been running a long time without anything on it and no issues, on a couple of my jet boats. I hope this will do for now, I'll let you know...

I went ahead and tore off the grate and shoe goe'd this on. This is the boat I plan to run in the event I am hosting this weekend so I will let you know how it goes! I ran my white boat last time...

Excellent, thanks for the tip. I think I will just use what I have for now (brass strands) but one of those metal organizers will be on my next build for sure!

Hey guys, I did some testing of a grate I had put on my boat, I think I will replace it though with brass rods instead. I was lost to much speed/power for what it was worth.

Depends on how thick I guess, my boats see allot of rock action.. so I would hate for it to be dented into uselessness the first outing.

Yeah you are probably right on that, I'll post up my results after playing around. I plan to get the boats out this week for sure.

Oh damn that does suck, I hate that moment when the pitch gets higher and you start looking at your escape route. I always plan ahead but typically play on some fairly low rivers/creeks.

Yeah its a tuff call as similar says, most all those strong chemicals can probably melt your boat along with the paint in most cases. Sanding at least you know exactly the outcome, no surprises.

I just sand all the decals off myself before I paint.... it doesn't look to bad leaving it "raw" once sanded.

Yeah man, I'm like a bird (to the shine) and that motor looks sweet. Like the guys say, 2 cell for sure and I really like that its water cooled already so you just mount it up!

Hey guys I had the first ever Jet boat comp that I know of today and it went off really well. I did time trial courses and everyones rides did quite well. I will be throwing a video together later...

A guy I know from youtube over in Australia is running auto bailers with really good luck so perhaps using one of those will help your woes on water. I just leave a couple holes open in the rear top...

I've had pretty good luck just shoe goo'ing in my servo on the stock tray. Just set it up with your radio on and trim it up then unplug and let the glue set.

I run everything from a futaba...
