for the amount of money and time I spent on the edge 540 I wouldn't do it again. There was something definitly wrong with the reciever I'm surpized I got so many flights out of it before it craped...

I also have a video of my edge which is stock motor and electronics, I've only reinforced the wing with carbon fiber and took the wheel pants off.

I also had the radio glich thing and as recommended I covered the pushrod in a plastic sleave and now it's fine. I did notice early on in this forum that some people had problems with the wing...

Im really happy with the stock Edge 540 -- everytime I go out it flys better and better... I did do my own modes as allot of these other fellas. But for a complete package for the money this plane...

hey I'm still flying the stock motor :) here is the AWL site I don't know if the have the spinners or not I do know they sell the edge parts check it out...

Thanks I'll check those pushrods and do some tapeing on the cowl. I did my longest flight today 14.5 mins on the edge 540 sweet ! ! very very very good flight and some grassy take offs no problem. ...

thanks I just did my 4 th flight and still noticed the glich. Ill try and find that sweet spot on the tx . my flights were near perfect except for those glichs landings went great and I'm getting...

thanks for the tips -- I did put the ailirons on the iner notach after the first flight[X(] today I just did my 3rd flight and did add a tad of nose weight ( I know it's a 3 d bird )was alittle windy...
