RE: custom decals-homemade decals

I'm sure that the printing company loves your money but if you have an inkjet printer, you can make your own graphics.

There are full (8.5 x 11) self sticking sheets available at any office...

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

Living here in Michigan, it's always cloudy and windy. Sometimes I'm afraid to fly my MUS because of the wind. We seem to always have 15-20mph wind. For a plane that's less than 30oz, what is the...

RE: First experience with electric - Mini Ultra Stick

I have three soccer fields behind my house and although this is a smaller electric than my US 40 glow, I'd like a bigger area to really open it up and see how it would perform. It will fly slow and...

Flapperons or Spoilerons

Which feature, flapperons or spoilerons will slow the landing down best? Which is easier to control when landing?

Thanks in advance,

RE: First experience with electric - Mini Ultra Stick

Tonight was the maiden flight and I really appreciate all of the helpful ideas that has been shared with me thus far. I finished the plane with a little help from the LHS. I decided to just glue...

RE: SECRETS OF THE MINI ULTRA STICK

OH MY GOD. Thanks so much. After seeing your videos, I want my setup just as you have yours. Thanks so much for the valuable lessons learned and the time you spent putting this presentation...

RE: First experience with electric - Mini Ultra Stick

Thanks for you moral support. I guess I'm going to have to try harder at getting the push rod tubes into the fuse, get the connectors for the battery and ESC, buy a tail wheel kit and finish it up.

First experience with electric - Mini Ultra Stick

I recently decided to switch from glow to electric so I could fly at the school behind my house. I read the reviews here on the forum and bought a Mini Ultra Stick (I have a .40 glow size US), a...

Back plate on 46FX

I just dumped my Tiger 2 into a bean field and the back plate on the 46FX broke. Will the backplate on the newer 46AX work on the older 46FX, if so where can I buy one quickly. If not, suggestions...

RE: my new tigger 2

I have the same ARF and love it. It's very dependable and easy to fly. You may want to experiment with props. I've used a 10x6 and a 11x5 and I'm currently using a 11x5 with a Tower Muffler on my...

RE: engines- -ultra stick--

I have an OS 46FX with an 11x5 prop and a MACS muffler and it will go vertical almost limitless. It's not real fast with this prop but is very aerobatic. It may be worth looking into. What ever...

RE: Ultra Stick 40

I have an US40 and a Tiger 2 ARF. When I was learning, the Tiger 2 was easier to fly, a little more stable and I wasn't trying to play with all of the options on my radio with it. The US40 flies...

RE: How often do you Fly?

Not nearly enough!

In Michigan we've had rain 26 of 31 days in May and really only had about 5-6 good days to fly in June. Wanna trade weather for awhile?

Before my new job, I was flying...

6XAS Stick ends

I'm wondering if Futaba or any after market company sells stick ends for my 6XAS? I see Airtronics sells gold ones for $14.99.

Airtronics stickends

I'm jealous. Can I get those?

RE: "crowing a ultrastick 40"

I have the 6XAS and it will not do the crow feature with just one switch. I have set it up so that it will do the crow with two switches though. I use channel 5 for the flaps and the airbrake to...

RE: Ultra Stick 40

You can use Great Plane's Big Stik and there is a color scheme for the Ultra Stik 40. It doesn't have the quad flaps though. I'd love to have a plane that could do that too so I could practice the...

Broken switch lever

In my haste I banged my 6XAS into the computer desk and broke the switch handle for the Elevator Dual Rate. I don't want to send the transmitter in to get it fixed and I'm wondering if there is...

RE: What do you do with your trainer after you've learned to fly?

Put skis on it! If you don't have snow, I guess that won't work but come north and fly in the snow.

Another thing to consider: What transmitter is the most popular at your club. It's easy to get help programming it if others in your club are familiar with it. If you buy an Airtonics (no knock)...

RE: GB <span class=

I love my Tiger II .40. I've had it for a couple of years and it's very reliable and easy to fly. As was previously stated, it was easier to land than my trainer (Avistar). I am using a OS .46FX...

RE: H9 Funtana: Saito .91 or Saito 100??

I can't speak for the Saito .91 or Saito 100 but the plane definitely does not need excessive engine to do aerobatic maneuvers. A guy at our field flies the thing electric with LI batteries and it...

RE: Is Ultra Stick 40 Good 2nd Plane?

I have a OS 46FX and use an APC 11 x 5 and have almost unlimited vertical. It's a grin.
