Yes James,
You will need to make that piece of metal, you could cut the plastic to fit but it will flex and you will need spacers in lace of the metal/servo plate to get the servos at the same...

You really wont notice much of a wieght gain with this mod. Think about how much the extra servo wieghs.. Not much and really that is the only heavy part you are adding, so hat is the only real...

of course there was a very small decrease in drive time but a higher mAh battery will counter that. The y-harness took care of any issues with the 2 servos working together. And this mod is still in...

No Difference at all this truck weighs a good 17Lbs!!!! the 3.oz battery does not affect it!!

YES!!! I believe a choice would be the way to go!!!! I would like to see it run mamba max high powered brushless and lipos for the same $$!!
