RE: Fly Eagle Jet F-14 Crash (video)

What a read. This thread has completely destroyed a solid decision to purchase FEJ's 1:7 F-16. Not so much the performance concerns as I'm pretty much a "nascar" pilot anyway. The disingenuous...

RE: Buy a new or used turbine?

Good call on the FOD screen Mike. I have owned 5 turbines so far, The only "new" purchase was a K-80e because it was the same price as a used jetcat or jet central. My P-60, titan, Merlin and Falcon...

RE: How to pick up the crash and move on

The only plane of mine that has ever "crashed" was my Sig Cap 231. I was at the field and came home to discover the harness it was hanging in let go. It fell 5 ft or so.. That was 3 years ago.

RE: Hitec 5645 on F-16 1/8 stabs??

I flew 6 flights on 5645's in my 1/8 16 before changing to 5955's. I noticed a lot less trimming was necessary after the switch.

RE: First turbine airframe

Nice KC! How come you didn't want the cockpit?

76, Have you seen skymasters (now extreme jets) 16? It was my first jet and I had no problems with it. Flew 16 uneventful flights and sold it..

80" ESM SeaFury with Saito R-200?

Just caught my eye last night. Does anyone know if the R200 would be a good powerplant for this? Anyone know if it will fit?

Thanks, Pete

RE: Are these batteries sufficient?

RE: Are these batteries sufficient?

Kc I previosly flew my f -18 from 2 x 2400 nihm. I thought LiFe chemistry being newer would not have a problem at 2100. Advice?

Are these batteries sufficient?

Guys I got a good deal on two hobbico LiFe source batteries.

2 x 2100 mah 6.6v 10c 13wh running on a powersqfe 1221.

This is okay for an f15 with 2-8711's and 7-8411's correct?
