I modified both to make it fit the way I wanted. I thought they were drop ins as well, but that turned out to not be true at least in my case.

I laminated another 1/16 ply layer on both ends of the stabilizer.

What is a quality easy to find paint to paint the turbine compartment with? I have used rattle can with an auto over coat in the past. Just ordered a new one from DreamWorks.
