Thanks for the help. The newer 120S does screw on just like mine but the nut and threads are different.

Are you saying the sleeve is normally not replaceable and is pressed into the cylinder in the 120? What is required to convert to a 120S? Am I looking at a new cylinder, piston, ring, valves, etc.?

That is exactly what I did. Pinched the end just enough for it to run good at full throttle. I dressed it up with a muffler deflector and it runs great.

Yes it is loud! Sounds really good though. I think I may be close. I have it now where it runs really good from top to bottom. Turning 9960 RPM's w/15x4W. Should do pretty good on the harrier...

It is better when I slowly open the throttle but will still die within seconds. It will run the tank out at half throttle or idle. As I said a few post up, restricting keeps it running at full...

Here is a picture of what I did to the pipe. I used a dremel (Dremel- Starts every time and has smooth transition) to cut tabs in a washer and pipe clamped to the end of the pipe. It will open up...

IT won't be in the fuel tank or line. It does the same thing on the test stand. I just bought this engine used. I checked the carb mounting o ring but not the HSN o ring. I will take a look...

I think the "S" and special are the same thing. I just can not find parts list for a FA 120. I dropped mine and it hit on the carb and broke the intake manifold. Don't do this! Shame on me for...

Can anyone tell me the part # and/or where to get a intake manifold for a fa 120? I ordered one for the "S" which looks like the right part but the threaded nut that goes into the head is to large. ...
