Sounds like the new pipe is a bit lighter and should be more efficient. My old style pipe has also started kinking in and jamming the vector pipe so I've got a new pipe on order.

I used high flow felt clunks on my 300 and all seems fine - pump voltages are good so far. When I used the CARF supplied ones in the past I drilled them out to get a higher flow rate.

Not sure how big the 260 is but if it's any bigger than a 220, the bypass is probably going to be a bit tight for it. In which case I'd just remove the bypass and trim the bell mouth to suit the 310....
