Do you have a video of the truck running on this pipe yet?

RE: MACS pipe

Force engines don't make great power, but they are work horses. they will spend all day at redline, they'll take being overheated...it's too bad they don't make a serious horsepower engine, because i...

RE: MACS pipe

It is a Force engine, so it will last forever. You might as well just pull the Force out and put the Picco in.

I can almost guarantee that the Force will last longer than the Picco!

RE: Help!!!!

I believe you have not tightened the slipper nut properly. Most Savage owners crank them down until they're tight tight tight, because the Savage slipper clutch has never been particularly good. Try...

RE: MACS pipe

The pipe definitely looks cool

But I fear that the power increase is going to be practically nil...perhaps a midrange pipe like a JP2 would be better suited to your Force engine?

Either...

RE: Redcats

They've been around since October 2005. the problem is NOT that they haven't been around for 20-30 years like HPI, Associated, Traxxas, and Losi, the problem is that all their advertising directs...

RE: what the hell!?

Just trust me...I do. Nobody is going to dedicate a website to bringing you $200 nitro cars, in all reality.

that IS a good point, however, about the playstation4.com website...however, since...

RE: Hurricane Clutch bell?

18 tooth would kill your bottom end...but if your engine would pull it...it would SCREAM on the top end.

RE: what the hell!?

Wow, what an interesting move for the company that owns www.himoto.com

Sounds like a conflict of interests to me.

RE: HIMOTO'S 2007 catalog. some cool stuff!

Will have? When will this happen, just out of curiosity? and when are these new products rolling out? These new products, I'm assuming, are identical to what Himoto will be offering, so just out of...

RE: how do these compare to a redcat?

The .32 makes a lot of torque...it's just not much on the big end of the RPM range.

I've driven one, and I just really didn't particularly like it. I honestly believe that my .21 powered Revo...

basically, beelze, if you're going to be on this forum you're completely useless if you're not dispensing advice to people that know less than you. Of course...with your defensiveness and...

RE: Picco 26 Max....the DARK SIDE....

053 means nothing to you because you lack the experiance with this setup that supertib obviously has. You, sir, are a grade A punk that thinks he knows everything.

Bow down to the true King of...

RE: HIMOTO'S 2007 catalog. some cool stuff!

their website isn't slow, it's just that the information has to come from the opposite side of the world... i.e. China/Hong Kong

RE: STS Engines

a .12 with a pullstart is about as useless as a 13 pound truggy with a 2 speed.

if you've got a gas truck, get a starter box and an STS ST12R. the engine is brutally powerful and runs...

RE: girlfriends and mines drifters :D

if you have body mounts tall enough to prevent your body from getting scraped up, the car is going to be ugly. not to mention, 99% of the time the body mounts are NOT higher than the roof anyway, and...

RE: how does these compare to a redcat?

The Mutilator is arguably the WORST truggy on the market. I'd rather have the Team VTX truggy, and i'm not a huge fan of that either. the Mutilator is based on the Hong Nor/Ofna 9.5, which is a...

RE: front wheel

The Hurricane's wheel fits very tight against the drive hex. just pull really really really hard and be careful not to smack yourself in the face when it comes off.

RE: "OFFICIAL" Tsunami thread

the Tsunami is a great truck, aside from the obvious clutchbell issue, which Redcat apparently doesn't think enough of their customers to get taken care of.

What I don't understand though is why...

RE: Newbe here... looking for info on the Redcat Earthquake truck

I own a Savage X with an SH .28P3 (same engine as the Quake has). the new X SS is the truck to get, if you can afford to get the electronics with it-and I seriously would NOT recommend spending less...

the XTM backplate SHOULD work on the back of the SH .28P3-I can find out tonight. I believe the LRP Rotostart backplate can be used too http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLBV6&P=Z...

RE: Redcat vehicle repair/tune FAQ

posting this here...if you want to see the original search "Tuning 101" by author Frost_

He wrote this originally in the Savage forum, but it applies to all nitro engines.

RE: AM or FM?

$67 sounds a bit steep, if it's the JR Python that I'm thinking it is. that's what we were selling them for in 1997. Good reliable radio, but you'd be better off with the Futaba 2PL or the
JR XR2i...
