I am interested in a glass cowl to. As for servos I am not sure yet either. The ones you listed are on my list as well as the Hitec 545 and the JR811 digital sport that is selling at Great Hobbies...

For fixed gear you can't beat the wire type for durability. The fixed aluminum or c/f gear looks the best but will very easily rip the bottom of the plane out. Retracts look great as well still have...
