RE: Christen Eagle

Maverick,

How serious aerobatics? The ST-3000 (or 3250) will fly the PILOT Eagle in a scale manner. If you are after 3D aerobatics then you'll need to go to a larger motor.

Are there any model files online for Aerofly Pro for the ikarus Wizard or Su-27? I'd love to be able to fly these in the sim.

RE: Fuel Dot installation help needed

Thanks guys.

I guess when you fuel it's not a big worry for fuel to travel up the carb feed line, right? Any overflow should go out the vent line.

Fuel Dot installation help needed

I want to install some fuel dots (I'm thru with E-Z fuel valves) and need to see some plumbing diagrams on how to hook them up. I'm curious how you by-pass the fuel line to the carb when...

RE: Great Planes PT- 17 Stearman ARF

Good info so far. I plan on getting one of these in a few months after I complete a move to a new house. I'm going with an OS 1.20 pumped on mine (like my ST-M). I'll also do a web page similar to my...

RE: in need of Mejzlik props; who has them?

We're not planning on doing 3D with the plane :)

The engine we're using is a DA-50. It actually flies very well in the sim. Our flightsim software guys did an excellent job with the dynamic...

RE: in need of Mejzlik props; who has them?

Yes, it needs to be a Mejzlik.

We have Bolly's as a back-up but all our flight model data has Mejzlik props coded already. To generate thrust table data and code it up for Bolly props in time...

RE: Kyosho PT17 Stearman

I completely missed this. I originally had a 12x5 on my OS52 in the Stearman but performance was lacking. I switched to a MA 11x7 and it's much better. Try the smaller prop, I think you'll like it...

RE: Kyosho PT17 Stearman

Mine flies great with an OS52 4-stroke. How much does your Stearman weigh? Mine comes in right around 6.25-6.5lbs. Plenty of wing area to fly her. Granted she won't do unlimited vertical but there's...

RE: Kyosho PT17 Stearman

I peeled the blue covering of the fuse of my Kyosho Stearman when I made my N2S-1 and it was not sticky back shelf paper. It was regular iron covering. I've re-shrunk it a few times already when it...

RE: Kyosho PT17 Stearman

I covered the fuse of my Kyosho Stearman with Cub Yellow monokote and it's a dead match for the yellow used on the wings. Not sure why you'd be having a problem.

If you want visit my site in...

RE: GSP Katana 72"...DETAILED BUILD and 3D FLIGHT REPORT

I have experience with the original ST-2300 and in order to get it to run properly you needed to replaces the ST carb with an OS 7D carburetor. The 2300 should fly the Katana nicely. I don't think...
