RE: The SPUTNIK, a F3A in EPP!

Spotted this yesterday evening: http://www.topmodel.fr/article.php?art_id=529

Setup appears to be different for English and French speakers :D but I'm sure Nicolas will fix that soon enough.

RE: The SPUTNIK, a F3A in EPP!

I'd love to know where others have ended up with the CG. I made an effort to play today with some stick on weights and am at 135mm instead of the 160mm in the manual. Think this is still a little...

RE: The SPUTNIK, a F3A in EPP!

I like your undercarriage Loic.

I have been flying mine a couple of weekends and am really pleased with it. The stock undercarriage is a problem as it is very short and stiff and although my...

RE: Sebart Miss Wind S 50E

Having watched the video again it looks like two different TX's appear in shot. I saw what looked like a 9XII sat on the ground at the beginning but what he uses later on certainly isn't.

RE: Sebart Miss Wind S 50E

Might be worth emailing Derk. I know his uses ailerons as brakes and am pretty sure he uses a DSX9 which is the same as your PCM9XII.

Look forward to seeing a video of what this thing does in...

RE: Spektrum DM9 module in PCM9XII issue

I took the whole setup into my local model shop. Hoping to get them to try a new module prior to shipping it all off to Horizon

I showed him the fault and they came straight back with an answer....

RE: Spektrum DM9 module in PCM9XII issue

Just tried it on a brand new AR7000 and problem doesn't occur. AR6100 has the problem though but not with the DX7

Spektrum DM9 module in PCM9XII issue

I have just bought a JR PCM9XII (35mhz synth module) and a new Spektrum DSM2 module to go with it.

Been using a DX7 since Christmas and have been very happy to date. Can't afford to replace all...

RE: Capiche 50

It's true our US cousins can't change the xtals and for apparently for good reason. Due to the nature of the frequency they use, being 72mhz rather than our 35mhz means the RF circuitry often needs...

RE: Boys and their little toys

There's a thread in the 3D forum over at RCGroups discussing this kind of problem but with the 4.9 servos rather than the 4.4's

RE: Capiche 50

I think he was telling Edible in particular not to solder them. All my packs are self assembled, the cells have metal tabs which you solder to. You have to be very careful as they are fragile as...

RE: Calling all US and UK pilots! Need your help!

I'm sure you've already thought of the fact that the US version will be on 72mhz whereas we use 35mhz here in the UK.

Worth checking about servicing as well. Last I heard Ripmax (UK Futaba...

RE: Boys and their little toys

I see the Boy mounted his Micro 6 from the front. This was how I also did mine originally. I think however it is better mounted from the back using the same method as the Axi/PJS etc. You get a much...

RE: Boys and their little toys

If you use the GWS SF props then they are a very tight slide on fit, no adaptor required so save even more weight. I've been running my Shockie for 4 months now and no slipping props.

If you use...

RE: Indoor 3D Extra 300 (2.5m!!!!)

I just reposted the link. Not my video and I don't have the facilities to do much with it. I'm using dialup today (WiFI down again) but it was worth it.

From the thread over at the other place....
