Anyone have a solution for the pinion sliding up and down on motor shaft? I'm thinking about
taking a dremmel and put a trough in the shaft so it doesn't move up and down.

No cracks in mine....the problem I'm having is the the pinion is moving up and down
on the motor shaft..it does not turn or slip on the motor shaft.

I tightened it, it stripped when I did...it had blue locktight on it. And it sat for more than 24 hours.

Hey Micro....Just put the new pinion on my DX. Grub screw does not tighten up(Stripped). I read another guy had same problem. I just tryed a test drive and sure enough the pinion is turning on the...

No Problem willy. Be careful with 3 cell. I have a feeling I burnt up my motor on one.
Was going full throttle and something broke. Will keep you updated.

Mico....how do you get one way out of the plantary gear?
is it pressed in....I'm installing metal planetary gear.

So far I see nothing wrong with the guts of the rear wheel.

Got it....when I turn the back wheel with my hand it turns but not smoothly like

In my case it just stopped moving. like something was stripped. I will take pictures
tonight when I get it apart.

Hey Micodan...I also received the steering damper and 16t pinion.

I think you stated ....dont put oil in the secondary damper. is this what i'm
to do.

I see, but I paid the price my second run. I assume that the power
from the three cell will be just for a burst of energy
and not full out long runs.

Well what ever happened it was it was on the second time I drove the bike.
I was in a grassy field that was pretty smooth, I was full throttle when
something went wrong.

Thanks MicroDAN...I have a problem in the rear wheel and will take it apart tonight.
I saw that you had a oneway bearing go out..is it related to the plastic planetary?
or it just went out?

I got a hold of the metal planetary gear. Do they make metal small planetary gears?
They are the three small ones that go into the large planetary gear. Do I use
the plastic ones...
