If you look at the variations in schemes you will see alot of different ways of application. I have some color photos of tanks at Aberdeen during and just after the war with some really weird paint...

The reason for the variation of color schemes on German armor is that they were field applied. Different units had their favorite schemes and so on. It is entirely possible that someone painted an...
