Got a small update on the bicycle! Laced up two new wheels and opted for orange hubs. Purple stuff is getting off soon!

Yeah, you would understand if you lived further up north. I'm going to 4Seasons indoor park this weekend so that's the only riding I'll be seeing in a LOOONG time..

They do.. Average tire is 20-24oz, that's around 1.3 lbs. A pair would be around 2.6 lbs. KHE tires are 9-13 oz a piece..

They're expensive because they're light as hell.. Shaves 1-1 1/2 lb of weight, pretty significant considering they're just tires.

Yup. I'm getting the new 2007 WTP hubs in gray.. Lacing a new front rim up with a natural colored Odyssey Hazard Lite rim. In the future I'm gonna have to get me a pair of those KHE Premium tires..

Damn, what the? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in your post that it would rust, haha. I'll probably end up going flat black later on.. Might just get me Odyssey PC pedals and get rid of the sealed...

Clear coat is basically paint, without the color ;). It will be fine. If anything, I'll sand and paint flat black next.

Haha, use a bandana instead, its cooler ;).


On a side note, I finished rawing my crank arms and clear coated everything raw, looks pretty good.

Haha, they're suppose to be like that.. Smaller gearing = less weight and better clearance (looks better too). I run 25T sprocket, 9T on the hub.. You can't pop your front up because you're not using...

Nooo.. The bars were white, and I didn't like that on the new frame, so I rawed it with plans to paint it flat black. But not that I look at it, raw looks pretty nice.

Thanks.. The only reason and time I'll replace for better parts is when they break of course =P. I want to get myself a new seat as well, not really liking it.

Got my Amigos frame today.. Awaiting the bottom bracket so I can put the crank on. I'm also rawing the bars as I type this. Can't wait to ride this thing!

I run 1440x900... That's good enough for me and any other game IMO. COD4 looks hot compared to Crysis IMO. I guess I just haven't played much of Crysis.

You gotta grab them at the flange and just man up and start pulling. It rolls up and eventually gets to the end and you got them off. To put new grips on, use a little hairspray (a little).
