If you get the right combination, you will be fine. You will know, before you Take Off, whether the Buddy Box is working properly. If you find someone who has already successfully used the two radios...

Hangar 9 sells a Trainer Cord that has both JR and Futaba ends. I know one fellow club member who uses a Hitec Tx as a Buddy Box for his JR DX7.

Our club has been training students, every Tuesday...
