11-1/2 gallons on the OS. Still as tight as the day I bought her. Never tried the 5.9, had the 4.1 in my x. Good engine, got close to 7 gallons on it. Peace.

Better for crawling if you keep the stock setup (spur/cb). with a few gearing changes you can basicly tune it to whatever you require. Peace.

you have to use the stock output shafts from your Savage, just drill out the hole to fit the bigger Cen pin. Also the en gears are alot bigger, which changes your gearing. Peace.
