The shorter horn on the control surface will give you less mechanical advantage. This will invite flutter.

What is the distance from the hole in the horn to the hingeline?

You need to enlarge the hole in the firewall to 2" and trim the sides until the carb will go through. We also had to take out the idle stop screw and hacked off it's unused bracket from the carb. ...

They hit me up for $182.00 on my 5 year old engine. It had been back before for upgrades, never been crashed.

Go to their website, click on support at the top, then product support, select Hangar 9 from the drop down menu, go down to you see the correct 27% Cap, click on it, and your done!:D

You may have put the spark plug cap on too far and caused the little spring to retract into the rubber boot.

For that same amount of money you can buy a carbon wing tube a save 8 oz. I'm finishing up mine now and have not had a chance to see what the AUW is.
