I finally set mine up. Used a HiTec HS-645MG steering servo, but forgot that the spline count would be different between Losi (Spektrum) and Hitec. Used a large Kimbrough servo saver and am good. I...

RE: LST2 Conversion Question

I have a Losi Aftershock conversion I did a couple years ago. I have a Castle Creations Mamba Monster 2200kv (esc/motor combo) in mine. The speed and power you get with a 6s lipo pack is insane. I...

RE: Anyone get an email fro Dave's Motors

Horizon distributes/sells HPI. So you saying, "I can't see why Horizon don't want to have them selling Losi's as well" is incorrect.

I've not seen bad posts about DDM. Any complaint that I have...

RE: Anyone get an email fro Dave's Motors

You think with the economy in the crapper, and Horizon/Losi wanting to push a $1500 large scale, being a little more loose with the requirements might be a good idea. Great Planes does the same thing...

Stock servo? What is that? LOL

I'm actually using the rtr steering servo and have had good luck. I had a hitec servo that was just sitting, so I put replaced the rtr servo with that one for...

RE: Redcat XSC

You are correct.

As for the front and rear knuckle issues, I have a couple dozen tanks through my XB and I don't have any issues with the bearings or knuckles yet. I will eventually be ordering...

RE: Redcat Releases X Series Short Course Truck Today!!

Sometimes, things are difficult to understand for people. I have difficulty understanding your post with all the grammatical and spelling errors.

The platform is great. I have an XB and love...

RE: whats better enclosed or closed clutch

It's part of a bigger system:

Or for enclosed by itself without the bell/plate/pinion:

Nice thing about the Turtle enclosed system is if you get the enclosed (or the open) and eventually want to switch back to one of them you can:

RE: baja 5b hit water now it wont start plz help

Did you change the fuel in the tank?

Make sure the fuel line on the bottom of the carb is connected to the clunk/filter at the bottom of the tank.

I'd definitely try and replace the spark...

RE: baja 5b hit water now it wont start plz help

Maybe a dumb question, but:

Did you have a killswitch like a Killer Bee installed? If so, did it get wet and possibly short out and now it's keeping your engine from starting?

Make...

RE: Rampage XB-E

I agree with Obeast, just head out to hobbyking and see the multiple sizes of lipos. Unfortunately, days of the standard 7.2 volt pack size are not there for the lipo market.

RE: Rampage XB-E

Check hobbypartz.com out as well. I've ordered from both hobbyking(they have a usa warehouse now, big plus) and hobbypartz. Both good places for lipos.

That sucks Dale. I've put mine through some hell and haven't had all of those problems. My absolute worse problem with it was the plastic gears melting. Steel solved it. As for the turnbuckles, I...
