jet, use the spacers with the 450. The cowl should just barely cover the front of the fuse. They put plywood tabs that extend past the front of the fuse and those are where you place your screws.

Yes the PNP 450 is different. I got the PNP version of the Mini Ultra Stick and ended up having to replace the motor with a real 450. The other problem with the PNP version is the servos they put in...

zoott, as you say, your balance point should be 70 mm (2 3/4 inches) back from the leading edge of the wing. That puts you about a half inch aft of the wing spar. I think you could even use the wing...
