Unplug that battery and see if the amps transfer...

Unplug that battery and see if the amps transfer to the other channel.. If they dont, then you have a bad CB200 pretty simple actually

I do like that idea Mark, it gives you a little warning before the gear drops. This combined with Jack's Methods or some derivative of it will work.. gotta Love Jeti, many ways to do things..

Sure Jack, no problem if you use logic.. many didn't.. I got several calls early on.. Both Your Method 1 and 2 is very good setup.

I should revise my statement to say not to use it as a failsafe...

I would not recommend using the MBAR as a gear failsafe.. rather use it to set off an alarm, which you then can decide to put the gear down yourself.. I once saw a set of gear come out of a jet...

Limitation is that the in order for the 900 to go to High data rate, Transmitter has to Not see the 2.4's.. but you keep stabilization, and its a valid point.. because that would be very short...

I just cut some fuzzy velcro and put it on the ends of the handle, and the bottom of the radio.. so I can set it down on any surface and it wont scratch either Keep it simple and cheap..

Yes it will work. I know of some guys running that. it gives you stabilization even if it switches over.. so its a viable option.

Most jet events we go to ask that you unplug batteries at night, and no charging at night unattended. This also saves you from a surprise, good also that you use shop batteries.. good plan.....

small heads up.. the 900 is a Rex receiver, and uses the version 1.10 of the REX receiver file to update.. its the same file as the REX 12,9,7

with the Range check, you are looking at Q actually, because of the reduce power, and the radio ping pongs with the receiver, so at some range you will see the Q starting to drop.. iF it drops below...

Get someone to monitor the GSU, plane not running.. turn it on, select idle but dont start it.. then put it in...
