RE: RC Tamiya Tank Raffle brought to you by the Tank Museum

Hi Karen, I tried to purchase but it seems that there's some problem. It says my filled in address and billing address is different which is weird. They are the same so I'm not sure what's wrong.

RE: Tamiya Spare Parts

Thanks for the headsup. Anyone has a panzer IV manual? What are the parts needed to make the suspension, idler/sprocket, roadwheels (basically the whole running gear minus the hull and gearbox)...

Tamiya Spare Parts

Hi Guys where would be a good place to get spare parts for Tamiya 1/16 tanks. Are Tiger I and King Tiger's roadwheel arms similar as can be swop over?

RE: LiPo VS. NiMh ??

IMHO you should go for LiPos as they pack more punch and hold their charge well even after few weeks unlike NiMh.

RE: Tamiya Hummer

Ha ha maybe can consider getting another one and do it up again. Too bad, we are miles apart or else could have a Humvee run fiesta.:D

Too bad rc rockets are not allowed here. It's so exciting and challenging to see it taking off.

RE: explosion!

So far have only seen Lipo explosion but not NIMH or NICd. I guess you've got to be very careful with whatever batteries we are using as they are all potential risk.

RE: lipo pack?

IMHO i think even if they can put out the amps, it wouldn't last for too many cycles though. Maybe try 1 pack and see how it goes if you really like to get it.
