MT2 Wheels and tyres

Hi all,

following on from my other post I picked up an MT2 off ebay! Totally stock, and been used about twice (there is not a speck of dirt on the car and all the bearings are play-free.

You can still harden aluminium using heating and quenching. If anyone knows exactly what grade they're made of I can give you a detailed breakdown of exactly how to do it at home.

I was reading through the older posts here, and I see there are some problems with the teeth on the clutch bells wearing out.

Has anyone tried a simple flame hardening on them? You could blast...

Oh well thats turned it on it's head! Seems nitro models in general have a crummy reputation!

The only other option in my price bracket new is an HPI rush EVO. I hear the newer FE engines are...

My other option is a second hand T-maxx, which this truck looks like it's based heavily on. Would a good recon T-maxx be better for them then?
