It is interesting that 2003 poll showed almost exactly the same percentage (about 50%) of people had some problem with CA hinges.

I'm about to start a CHP Vision (50cc) and plan on using a mixture of CA hinges and Robart hinges. I'll probably add some Robarts to the rudder and one to each elevator half near the pushrod. Maybe...

I put the rudder back on with the robart pin hinges (1/8" hole) and gorilla glue. The whole process only took 10 minutes and the rudder seems very solid.

Looking at the poll, I'm not the only one who has had problems with CA hinges. Seems like a lot of Funtana surfaces are coming off. Maybe it's the H9 CA hinges???

I always follow the directions and I'm careful not to use too much CA or they can get brittle.

Maybe I'll stick to CA for everything but the rudder since it takes the most abuse...

Snap roll on takeoff and the rudder broke off. Luckily I landed ok and the rudder was hanging from the pushrod.
