Binding issue

I just received a Savage x 4.6 from a friend. Can’t seem to get the transmitter and receiver to bind.
The Tx is a TF-20U and the Rx is a TF-40. Are they even compatible?

Thanks guys, I was hoping to avoid adding shims. Guess that's the way to go. I went with shims on my trainer 50. Just don't like the looks of it.

What elevator servos is everyone using? The mounts in the fuselage for the elevator servos are shallow and I'm assuming require low profile servos?

Don't worry to much about component layout in order to balance.
I used almost 1-1/2 pounds of lead in the nose to balance, not including the 4 batteries.
The turbinator handles the extra weight...
