well i put the new tank on the brand spankin new never been ran lightning... and it took for ever to get it to run.... but now i have to tune it.... :( i gave up on it for now, couldn't get...

hey all,

i decided to start the break in on my lightning.... but i couldn't even get it to start. it turns out the fuel tank is clogged on the supply to engine side. on my tornado xp i can plug...

if its a redcat lightning, good luck. the owners manual has many errors...and is confusing. [&o]

sorry bout that, i did mean reverse. :D it could have been an assembly error... i dunno. but the gears are smaller. anyway, i put the new gear in the old tranny and it works good. but it seems like...

in the new trannny the taller gear is backwards from the way you say to install it.
the molded hub is faced in. and it has diff gears

it also has a 39th geaR and a 44th.... do i have the wrong part?

i got my new gears today, along with a complete tranny. But! the new tranny seems to have the 47th gear backwards..... anybody ever had this happen?

ok, when i am reinstalling my motor after i rebuild the tranny how should the engine gears and the tranny meet? tight or loose?

YES! Please do!!! i ordered a new transmission and new gears for the old one. figured i would try to rebuild, and have the new one just in case [8D]

hello,
i have a tornado xp. i was driving it the other day and i drove it on the road for 30 ft. and suddenly the buggy stopped i my engine reved. one of the gears in the transmission stripped.
