RE: OS 33GT Gasoline Engine for Pattern

Matt
So your mount can take interchangeable stand off lengths?
It had a 160 originally but has a 170 in it now dialed right down to about 60% of full throttle on a slider.

It has engine bearers to take the YS super mount so I'm undecided on whether to cut them out...

RE: Scoop! Hangar 9 Phoenix 7...ARF!!!

Yeah I'm using those, seem alright so far but I have them mounted on rubber grommets like a servo, I believe they don't like vibration.

RE: Scoop! Hangar 9 Phoenix 7...ARF!!!

Mine has a OS 95AX/MVVS pipe and Eflite retracts and only needed the battery mounted about 4-5 inches behind trailing edge of the wing to balance, just make a tray in lower fuse turtlledeck and slide...

RE: Contra Rotating Propeller Drive for f3a 2m Pattern Planes

RE: Composite-ARF Integral, kinda build thread

I think the length of the std gear might be an issue for electric and they are super stiff as well, transfer lots of load back into the fuse which doesn't have a lot of reserve strength in the gear...

RE: Composite-ARF Integral, kinda build thread

If I could figure out how to ship it, you could have mine for a grand because I'm clearly undecided on what to do with it.

Mine came with silver canopy thankfully, for some reason I don't like clear canopy's on F3A models.
I bought it to power it with Brenner's contra drive but I think there are better airframes...

Yes 91VRDF, using 18% Klotz KL100/10% Nitro.
Tried 20 and 30 Nitro and didn't make a lot of difference.
There is plenty of room for the header to get past the carb but the header I had...

Thanks, here are some pictures of Magic/Tragic/Phoenix I'm working on, do you think it looks like the HB fuse?

Flywilly
1.5 degrees which way, I'm about 2/3 thirds through a glass Magic and have the wing fitted and faired ( bummer if I have to change it) and the stab glued in but not faired.
Do you know...

RE: Contra Rotating Propeller Drive for f3a 2m Pattern Planes

RE: OS GT33 33cc gasser
