I would use .75 Oz. cloth. If you use anything heavier then you have to load on the primer to fill in the weave. And 3 months later you will see that the surface has shrunk slightly, and the weave...

Having fiberglassed and painted several planes, I my opinion you would be adding way too much weight. I would estimate about 5~6 pounds. Any of these 40% planes (I have a 40% Carden Edge 540)...

1.60 prop

I fly the same combination with a 18x6 prop. It will also do ok with an 18x8. You can get a Apc 18x8 but I had to buy a Mejslik(sic) in a 18x6 more thrust less speed with 18x6.
