AR9000 maximum voltage capability?

I have seen various ads for the Spektrum AR9000 receiver wherein the maximum voltage capability is stated as approximately 6 volts....and other ads saying it is approximately 9 volts.

The box the JR RT88 servo comes in gives specs for speed and torque at both 4.8 and 6 volts.
Wouldn't you agree that a reasonable person would take from that printed statement that 6 volts is OK...
