RE: Rant - Sorry :/

If Craigslist in Atlanta had a bigger RC market I would have no need for Ebay.

But I also hate that with Craigslist, people seem to think that the price you put out there is an arbitrary number...

RE: Rant - Sorry :/

I cannot recall the last time I gave someone a ticket and held their car in impound until 3 days after I verified the ticket was paid, or until they left a positive comment on my work history file.

RE: Rant - Sorry :/

dude, that's what I don't get. Been a member forever. 100% positive feedback. Now they implement DSRs and suddenly I'm a high risk because I haven't sold anything until now after the DSRs were...

Rant - Sorry :/

I don't know where else to post this. I am so pissed off right now I can't see straight.

This is the only outlet I have to get this word out, I don't have blogs, or work for a radio station,...

Just realized I put this in the wrong forum, hopefully the mods will delete the other one since this is where I meant to post this question =/.

Well, I just got home.

Unfortunately, the Eflite SeaFury got pwnt by a 40% 4 Stroke in mid flight.

Lets just say there were some words exchanged before the flight, and despite my...

Prop Question

The Hobby Store here has a small selection of props - and I am not smart enough where prop math is concerned to figure out if I can make my plane work with the selection they have.

The Pulse 25...

Pulse XT 25e Assembled Incorrectly From Factory?

I'm trying to decide how to deal with this. First I need to know if I'm crazy or correct.

On one wing, the Aileron Servo Mounting Cutout lines up almost perfectly with the control horn so that...

RE: This guy has some nice stuff - anyone try any of it

I have 11 HobbyCity/HobbyKing LiPo packs.

They have matched my ThunderPower and FlightPower packs, hands down. Not to mention they were 1/8 of the cost or less per pack.

RE: ExtremeFlight 45" Extra 300?

Well - that was quick.

I got the Extra out about 250 feet away from me, maybe 75-100 feet in the air after a low pass, and it quite literally died.

I had zero response. The prop stopped...

Pulse XT 60?

Im not sure if this qualifies for Giant Scale or not, but here goes.

I am looking for a general "Do" or "Don't" buy comparison for the Pulse 60.

I want a 70-80" Wingspan plane for...

Pulse XT 25e

Hey Guys -

Another quick question.

I am interested in building a Float Plane and I am trying to decide between a Beaver and a Pulse.

I really like the look of the Pulse, and being...

I need to fly my heli like *now* due to the need to sell it ASAP.

I cannot get my hands on a Raptor 90 OEM flybar due to time constraints.

Is there any way I can use a Trex Nitro Heli...

RE: ExtremeFlight 45" Extra 300?

Well..

You guys were all right in one way or another.

The plane flew pretty well on the S75's, I engaged the 3D throws and it actually performed fairly well with the exception of the...

RE: Looking for a list of planes categorized by experience level needed.

If you are willing to learn via a "Step-Up" method - start with a HobbyZone SuperCub. You absolutely cannot go wrong. And if you hate it, or suck at it, you are only out like 150$ total.

If you...

RE: ExtremeFlight 45" Extra 300?

I just went to Extreme Flight and picked it up.

Got the Power Combo and the Prop/Spinner.

Quick question: I have a TON of S75's lying around.

Will Eflite S75's operate this plane...

ExtremeFlight 45" Extra 300?

Hey Guys.

I am thinking about getting a Balsa 3D plane, and I've heard some really great things about ExtremeFlight.

I'm considering the Extra because it will run on 3s 2100+ batts. (Of...

RE: HLEP!!! Only front wheel drive

Dumb question - but did you make sure you didn't throw the main driveshaft to the rear wheels?

My buddy completely lost the center drive shaft that powers the rear wheels on a cartwheel landing.

RE: J-35 Lightning II EDF ParkFlyer? BananaHobby

It f lies very similarly to a Stryker.

Only a lot faster and a lot more touchy. I think it's a great plane, but I would not say it's good for a beginner. It can eat up sky quickly and it's low...

Crash Damage to Trojan Motor?

Well, I finally did it.

I put the Trojan in the top of a tree due to a 15 mph crosswind. I know I shouldn't have been flying, but I gave in (stupidly) to peer pressure.

The poor plane did...

For Hovering,...

That is so you can operate the tail stabs independently.

Put two more servo's in the open holes and use the extra pushrods to link the horns to the stabs.

I think it flies better with...

Funtana 300 vs. Typhoon2

Ok, I know the two planes in question are dissimilar at best, one being a profile foamy, one being injection molded, etc, etc. And I know the weight is different, etc, etc.

I get all of that...
