Magnum XL-61A

So I came across this engine at a fly-in(title of post) for $40 and bought it. Great condition with plenty of flight time left. Anybody have an recommendations for good P-40 or Spitfire plans/kit...

I'll take everyones suggestions and just leave it with the little 40 i have in there. I guess I have an engine for the next plane I purchase.

You know, I'm in the process of applying for a flight slot with the Navy, but my OSO keeps trying to get me to go into the NUC program because of my degree. His persistence is frustrating.

I know, but would it still work? Better yet, can I make it work. I know it says anything bigger than a .56 should be 4 stroke, but I don't really see the difference between putting a 2 stroke 61 and...

I ran into a problem this morning. I was mounting the main gear, and while i was doing so, i broke the support inside the wing. Now as i put the gear in, the part that goes into the hole moves around...

I bought a replacement tail wheel for my PTS. It's a Du-Bro 1-1/4"" diameter tail wheel. It's a tad smaller than the foam one that came with it. Do you think it will work?
