ive managed to create a custom spur gear with 75T ,took HPI spur modded so it will fit the HSP Xeme drive shaft and modded the chassis so it would fit (hack job ;) ) so i can now gear down to a 15T...

thats the lowest ratio I can get, cant fit a smaller pinion on so if it dont work and it gets too hot ive got nowhere to go thats why im asking. got a motor heatsink with fan so that would help i...

my pinion spur is 21/60 and i cant put a bigger spur in. the gearbox/dif ratio is 2.9230 if that makes any difference.

but spose trial and error is the only way :( big investment to make if it...

Im running a 1/10 touring car with a drive ratio of 8.351:1 (motor spins/wheel spins)

would that ratio be ok for the mamba 5700 or would it get too hot?
