Myself I wasn't worried about the weight because with the DLE 30 she was tail heavy.
My 1st fuse was the V1, I now have the newer version fuse. It is much lighter in the tail.

I had to drill a hole on the motor box at an angle to access the needle valve, That along with a weaken firewall is why I suggested you just move the firewall back.

O yes you will need to glass that motor box. If I had it to do over I'd move the fire wall. cutting a hole in the firewall really weakens it. I've had to rebuild it a couple of times.

That looks just like my Green Machine. She's a GW MX as well. I have a DLE 30 in her as well.
I drilled a hole and cut my stand offs down. In all reality it's just as easy to move the firewall...
