Both engines reach the power/torque peak when running in...

RE: New fast airframe in the works

Do you mean that there's not enough space available for installing the #1190 tuned pipe in the fuse, especially the back reflector cone and the stinger part?

The MACS pipe #1160 sadly features...

RE: New fast airframe in the works

Well a ROSSI .90 DF engine is a very different animal compared to the West 50V1 being just a higher-timed WEBRA .50 FISE. Talking 5 HP versus 2.5 HP output... [sm=omg_smile.gif]

RE: Shrike .10-OS .25 vrdf project

Well when attempting to increase the carb bore diameter we always need to know the crankshaft bore at its narrowest part. Because we want to maximise the venturi effect of the carb (acceleration of...

RE: Shrike .10-OS .25 vrdf project

Getting the engine into its correct power band by using a smaller prop load is one thing, transferring the additional rpm into speed another ;)

A 5.25x9 prop sadly will not be working with a...

RE: Shrike .10-OS .25 vrdf project

Mostly detailed scale planes come with thicker airfoils leading to more docile flight characteristics and also to slower landing speeds (more scale-like). If you show us a foto of the wing root and...
