RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Max,

I had Clearview first as well. The difference is night and day, Clearview is a fixed pitch machine and Phoenix is a blinged out CP machine. You will wonder how you ever flew Clearview. I'm...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Scott, have it setup as gear right now. It could be with the new servo now I just need to jack up the gain. I had it pretty low to eliminate wag with the maxwell servo. Just need to get my butt down...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Max, phoenix is worth it's weight in gold! Great flight sim. I should actually spend more time on it but I get bored with it too fast. Same problem I've always had with sims.

Well the...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

On the new 200SEV2 I stuffed a quark into her and the tail performance is well not what it should be for a quark. I didn't get any real flights with her as I forgot the damn lock collar on the top...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

What a Sunday of flight. Out of love for the hobby I grabbed a new 200 and stuffed a quark in it. Flies great! Was having a blast with it and all of sudden it starts shuddering wildly. Barely got it...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Chuck, I'll dig up pictures of my hatcam rig when I get home, but what I did is just put a bolt right through the beak then screw the cam on via the tripod lug. Works awesome!

RE: those of you who own a blade msr

I find the mSR is a little too easy to fly and I get bored with it easy. Then again I have been flying for 3 years and have the big CP machines in abundance. The mSR is fun indoors and outdoors on a...

RE: Newb to Rotorcraft

Once you move up to a fixed pitch then onto the CP machines you are always inputting small corrections into the tx. The little 120SR can be trimmed out to hover hands off for a few seconds but if...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Well I haven't had any stick time other than a few tune up flights but here is the next challenging question... When does a clone quit being a clone? Now that my last few 250 parts have arrived all...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

I'm like Eddie, I tried once but it lasted a few cycles. I've got packs with 100's of flights on them that were never broken in and I don't seem to have a problem. The only thing I do that is...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Both types of wag :) If I have a normal gain setting in the tx it's a fast wag and as you take the gain out it will slow down but not totally disappear. I've tried the full range of ball link...
