Same thing happened to my 645 after going through about 7" of water...I kept running that day fine but when I got home and started cleaning, I turned the power switch on and there was some smoke...

OMG!![:-] thats the same setup I have in my truck, Its amazing the power the engine puts out to shread the gears like that. As soon as u find out what caused it let us know man.

The tie rods I got from Largescalerc.com they are used for the MCD truck. A word of caution with FG Hopups...get ready to wait..I had to wait about a month for my stuff.

I had the same problem and did what SBGasser said. Make sure you dont mess up the first threads on the screw otherwise it wont want to go in straight.
