I only build RCMKs and I have them apart many times in a season. If the case threads are being pulled or broken it is from way too much tightening. The RCMK castings and billet parts are a very high...

You will need a multi meter.

Source coil ( eng. mounted );

Red wire to black wire = infinity to 300 ohms

Secondary coil ( to the spark plug ) MAKE SURE THIS COIL HAS A PERFECT GROUND...

The large 14mm. spark plug tells it's a 230. All the 231s and later engs. use the smaller 10mm. plug.

the LOW needle is under the little plastic cap on a wyk 33 and needs to be adjusted 6 3/4 to 7 turns out.
the high needle is the screw with the spring on it in pic 3 and needs to be out about 1 3/4...

Looks good for a shake down run. Your builder has mounted the drive extremely high on the transom, and in the video you can see the rooster tail is shooting far too high. The prop is losing thrust....
