Savox SB-2272MG vs Futaba BL251

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Savox SB-2272MG brushless tail servo. I am looking to buy a new tail servo for my Trex 500 FBL with cgy750 gyro/FBL...

RE: Is it time for a Savage XL flux?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the FLux is already bigger than the e-maxx. How would a Fluxx XL be a better competitor? The Flux is already much better than an emaxx. Besides, all it takes to...

RE: Must have accessories?

Are you for serious? The stock screws have phillips heads on them (unless they changed it and I'm not aware). They are terrible. Any allen head screws are better than the stock screws.

RE: 7075 savage xl/flux parts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the genuine HPI alum replacement parts are made from 6061-T6. For towers, there are many options, I personally use FLM towers, and FLM uses 6061-T6 for towers,...

RE: steering servo/receiver problem...hitec&airtronics

Essentially, the old airtonics stuff used to have the red and black wires switched (so that ground was in the center). This means that if you put the connector in backwards, it put power (+, red)...

RE: Just close your eyes for a second and imagine.....

I agree, the TVP design is what sets the savage apart from the others. It's the main reason I chose the savage over other trucks. I wouldn't buy a flat chassis savage.

RE: Nylon Roll Cages.????

SERIOUSLY, I've gotten mine a tad over 55, and its way overweight. I'm pretty sure the speed is limited by gearing too, cuz the motor went over 54600rpm's. Considering that with 25.2v it maxes at...
