yeah, I second that.. the Hellfire walks all over the Revo, it isn't even close....handling, durability, and Reliability are also to the Hellfire's advantage. I live here in Traxxas Land (Dallas)...

sorry you're having problems.. to be honest, that sounds really odd.

I have been running the stock ss diff since Thanksgiving.. no problems at all... the only problem I had was with the screw...

due to the elevated engine mount, I don't think there is a limitation. At least it was not mentioned to me when I had to pick a motor for my SS kit..

As for being on a budget... We are a one...

HI, i guess that's the thing that keeps bringing us all back to the track.. all the tweaking possibilities..

tonight was a big night at one of our local tracks... everyone out with their new toys.. teaching new turn marshals how to turn over a car, and when NOT to jump into oncoming...

i'm still running my original NUBZ (soft compound) from the SS kit.. tons of grip and almost too much (traction rolling) when the track gets it's 'blue groove' I'll prolly buy Pro-Line 40-series...

- 5k and 7k in the front (depending on how blown out the track gets that time of the week)
- 15k in the center
- 2k or 5k in the rear

5-15-2 or 7-15-5

That's all you should need to take...

i just bought and assembled my ss. I've raced it in a regional event and two club nights.. here's what I've learned about the HFSS

1. locktite everything that's metal on metal
2. shrink wrap...
