RE: Synthetic or Mineral Oil

40:1 Stihl Ultra HP seems to work well for me in my planes and lawn tools. I used left over gas from last year with no problems. I even use it in my old riding lawn mower. No smoke and it runs cooler.

RE: OS 33GT Gasoline Engine for Pattern

Mid throttle richness with my MT 70 was corrected with lighter prop load. I was able to lean the high end which in turn cleaned the midrange.

RE: OS 33cc gas engine

MTK has reviewed this engine here on RCU. DO a search. The engine is superior to the DLE 30 or any other mass producted 30-38cc on the market.

RE: MT70CC TWIN

The only problem I had with the one bolt hub is lightend back plates. They will allow the prop to clock and will ruin a fiberglass spinner.

RE: MT70CC TWIN

At 4.73 pounds it must be a long lasting engine and weighing over a pound more than a DA 60 I won't be buying one unless I have a grossly tail heavy plane.

RE: OS GT33 33cc gasser

WHat have you done to try to figure this out on your own or with other club members who run gas model engines?

Is this your first gas model engine?

Are you running with the cowl on or off?...

RE: Lightest, most reliable ignition on the planet, Guaranteed!

John,

That was a good test.

You were running some methanol, maybe 25%. The Enya used 0% methanol. They seem to be doing something different. The Enya 3 is another hot plug.

RE: New form of Gas ignition

The oil is not providing the magic. In the video thread they say the engine will run on any 2 stroke oil but you need the lube of the oil they provide or the engine will sustain damage.

This engine has more R&D hours, is machined to closer tolerances and made with better materials than any cheap $300.00 engine. OS AND Enya make some of the best hobby engines in the world. Enya, with...

What happens to the ring as the engine heats up? I wonder if the maine...
