The XL-5 is a brushed motor esc. You can not run brushless motors with it. You would have to get the whole system motor and esc.

Thats the temp gauge I have. I'll pick up a heatsink next time I go to the hobby shop. It should help if I'm racing right?

The guy I bought it from used to race with Todd Hodge when he first got started. One of the motors I got was a hand wound 13t wound by Todd Hodge himself.

Motor for XX-CR

I just picked up a nice Losi XX-CR roller. I want a motor between 15 and 20 turns to put in it. I plan to race on occasion. What would be a good motor for the job?

NITROS CANT CRAWL! You'll blow the engine. Theres no proper way of cooling it and it puts it under too much stress. You'll burn the clutch right up. It just cant do it.
