Im having the same problem to, i had valves cleared but didnt seem to do much, but after i did i noticed i had to richin up the low speed to get it idling properly again

Thats the go!, i guess the best to go is about the 15cc-20cc mark for reliability. I'm mainly looking for a cheap plane and gas engine, for something to have endless fun with, do some ribbin cutting...

i bought this engine from ColTaylor about 2 months ago, you think it would have the new carby already on it? by the sounds of it i should have an air scoop. but i have been using about 4 week old...

Before it would run for about 20 or so seconds then it started to die, i check all the lines and found no air bubbles, even once i sooked it with fuel, If you sook your lines in fuel...

Its not pressurizing it to a dangerous level, its like giving it a slight push to help it reach to carby easyier, i asume if anything was going to happen, it would have happened in the first few tank...

i just added a pressure nipple to the FG-20 muffler and i had to do 1 or 2 clicks leaner, the reason behind doing it was when i held the plane up the fuel line got full of air bubbles. i have heard...

ok, im going to solve every ones problem with this engine about the carby...

set it up like a nitro!, with a nipple on the muffler, pressureize (or how ever you spell it) the tank! fixes...

Thats why im buying the Extra from tower hobbies, i can't find the kit in australia, and im buying the engine from Australia, because tower hobbies don't have saitos. ;)

I know what your saying, but i have had other four strokes before, and none of them went in planes because they didn't run any good (may have just been all leamons), i thought id give it one more...

Te Great Planes extra 300s looks like a good plane to build and is cheap off Tower hobbies at the moment even with the high shipping costs to Australia, not to mention the aussie dollar is worth more...
