It looks to me like the high speed gives it better floatation. Just like a snowmobile in deep powder.

Loved the "whale tail" snow spray coming off the tracks. It wouldn't surprise me if it could do water skipping. (not that I am suggesting that)

What kind of material is that? It looks almost like some sort of compressed cloth material.

It should make turning less abrupt...and save the cool looking rotors. Nice.

That should help it to become less touchy, but to be honest, it doesn't look too bad. I have been in real snowcats before, and yours seems less touchy than those. Are you going with the thickest...

That's an interesting solution to variable braking. It's very simple, but judging from the video...it does the job.
