I would seriously doubt that the coating (stain) protects an engine, I would kinda say the opposite.

Any fuel with a color dye. The dye empregnates the internal metal part (piston/sleeve) and turns them to the color of the dye. NOT COOL.

Get the Ofna chrome top w/12v gel cell it's what 70% of racers use. It's like a sledgehammer strong, simple and reliable;

1) less weight of a pull starter or roto starter,and no broken strings.
