Mine has OS 61fx and I would not want anything less than that. Others are running 60's and 75's. I have not seen any 46ers but as per my two cents it may fly, but would not be a comfortable flying...

I agree - but I would also recommend a stronger retract than the Spring Air unit as recommended . Gains pointed this out in earlier post that the Spring Air unit currently being used for this kit...

Flap Hinges came from Hobby Lobby but they do require a lot of wing modifications to use the way I did. Depends on how much effort you want to put into it. The standard flaps work very well.

OK - Finally got maiden flight in this weekend. Had to debug problems - build stuff - not kit design - flew one round with cowls off so engines could be worked on (new OS 61's). Never got retract...

OK Gains I have switched flap hinges - please tell me Im OK (comments by others welcome too)- It will have to do as is to get ready for flite - pilots etc will have to wait on getting complete paint...

Gains - What did you do about nose steering on yours - The Nose retract unit has the single arm with slide bar for steering control rod which flexes a lot and concernes me somewhat - I may switch too...
