I don't think the Hyper ST PRO are the same size as the Hong Nor 16mm Shocks, I would say the HSP are like 14.5mm in comparison to the Hong Nor ones.

And someone said the Kyosho's are 20mm,...

i've heard about a Mugen MBX9, go to www.newbuggy.net and check the current poll, maybe there's a confussion? the hyper 8.5 is too new for HoBao to make a H9, and what could they upgrade anyway?...

I think it's common, I broke 1 front shock shaft right in the same spot dryvr, I've bought several shock shafts since then :eek:

the servo is not very strong but the hyper has breaking problems, my uncle's ST PRO doesn't brake at all with adjustments and he's using a Hitec 625MG (around 95oz of torque), but my dads Race Roller...

I believe the pipe is a 2059, at least that's what hyper 8 buggy pipe is, i'm thinking it could be the same.

I had the same problem, the plastic horn was hitting the servo but I used an aluminum futaba servo horn that came with the Hyper ST PRO kit of my dad and it's perfect now!

I use a Team Helotes 2600mah battery pack on my 8.5 but if you are using the 8 you would need the updated box.

Hey ProcessRacing, I got to test the advantage wheels 2 race days and they have been holding up great, using them with Losi XBT tires, although, if the travel of your rear end is too low, it will rub...

I believe the spektrum version of the 590 servo use nylon gears so I would not trust it for the throttle and break, if a gear breaks, the buggy could run away.

I like the Futaba S9450 servo....

you are not wrong slayer, charging a 700mah battery at 1 amp should take 42 mins. (more or less)
