Hey!
Does any one have a good explanation why not to run the ASP 400 radial on 8% oil fuel ,when the OS sirius 7 runs on this mix?

(Neither of them draw the fuel thorugh the crank case like...

Run the ASP 400 without pipes when it is dark , its awesome! blue flames comes out of the exhaust

Detlef ; do you have pictures or video of the b 25 with two asp 400`s ?would have been interseting to see !

Regarding after oiling of the asp 400 ; i flush synth. engine oil into the crank case...

The only down side of the ASP as i can see is that it rust inside and is 400g heavier than the 325r5. "rust never sleeps" ! I dont know how the 325r5 is..
The ASP 400 also sounds cooler on full...

I used a switch from an old bilge pump ,and used a spring connected to the throttle servo horn to break the circuit with two 3500mAh D cell batteries in paralell . This worked fine and is a cheap...

But the 170R3 probably has more torque than a 120 fs ?? it is a different engine than a 120 i think.

sounds like a smart thing to do ,max . if i get mine up and running again , ill do the same . to tap the other nipple in the front near the cam should be good.

Sonnic ; i use regular 18% oil 15% nitro fuel.. the bearings are japanese , and maybe the same as saito use.. ,probably a miss in the lubriction system of the asp , since they are rusting inside.

I like the seidel !!
Yesterday my ASP fs400ar broke down in the air , i have now opened the engine and found that it is a lot of rust in there .. and all the 4 bearings was rusted and destroyed....

can the seidel be run on regular 15/15 fuel ? it is very difficult to buy methanol in Norway , (socialistic country :( )

Donald , it is the 1:5,2 scale Dave Platt 190 , the engine fit under the cowl . originally 80" wingspan.

I dont know the "Topp" 190 .

i dont know exactly ,but between 8.5-9.0 kg. It is made of sheeted foam wings and casted epoxy/fibreglass fuse.

microsense glow 5lp glowdriver and a lipo cell.

I have captured a video of my asp 400 powered fw 190 now , it is a well flying model and i have lots of flights on it! The asp 400 is absolutely recommended if you want a reliable ,easy to operate...
