Thanks Bob! I could trim my choke linkage but it is not noticeable when on the wheels with the cowl on and I like having a easy access choke.

Thanks Bob! I got the engine started and ran her for 3 tanks. Puuurs like a kitten and has 0 loading during idel. Ran out of time and it has been 97 with mega humidity here but I will fly her...

here is my throttle linkage. I pryed off the smal metal horns and replaced them with the large zenoha arms. One came with the engine and one I bought.

damn man! Looks like fire wood to me. I wouldn't chance fixing that kind of damage on a giant scale plane. I might be too conservative. Sorry about the crash.

Bob,

no worries. I have 2lbs of lead bolted to my firewall so a steel plate would help but I would need more. I will post some pics "I hope" of my weight. I plan to shim it off the firewall...

Bob, my weight is on the firewall. If I move it inboard it will take more weight than I have now.

Thanks for the info.

On the balance... I am still tail heavy with 2 lbs on the firewall. I will recheck before I change anything but I plan to shim out my wieght with wood to move...

Ok, I had never heard of sealing warbird hinges. Just checking. I have my Corsair ready to run the motor a little then maiden. IK had it at a flyin today to run the motor and ground check it then...
