I think you need to re-calibrate your scale Wayne, it's 2 oz off...

By the way as an odd comparison, just weighed my C-ARF 260 fuselage, just the fuse, no cowling,canopy or other gear. 5lb 6 oz....

I have run the Macs pipe/muffler on OS 46 and the OS 50 SX and SX-H.
The Mac unit will on a typical 3D set up with a propeller swinging in the mid 12k's RPM add approximately 400-500...

You can easily fix most scrape marks with some wet sanding and then rubbing compound then end with some polish/wax.

Start out with 400 wet sand then work your way to at least 800, then...
