RE: Spektrum DX-7

RE: Spektrum DX-7

I always thought that they had cured the problem when they told those that couldn't figure it out themselves to use larger batteries on setups that obviously needed them. I guess I should be more...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

And for my 2 cents... Ive been flying the DX-7 since it was released. And flying it AS RELEASED. Still flying on the factory battery, and still never had a brown-out. Not to say that it wont ever...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

It doesnt matter what application the Cap was designed for, it serves the same purpose in any application. In a flying environment it probably wouldn't be nearly as beneficial, but its WILL still...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Yet you try to jump on the band wagon?? /me is confused as to the validity of your direction.

I agree, every radio system will have its drawbacks, every radio WILL fail at some point. And we will...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

How many flights are you getting out of your 1100 pack? I know that the age of my batteries is going to catch up with me and am leaning toward starting to transition to A123s as well.

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Do we see a trend yet in range checks not happening leading to loss of aircraft? Lets blame the batteries and quality of the radio. It cant be our fault for not doing what we all KNOW we should be...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Failing to do radio checks and voltage checks is what gets people hurt, and potentially killed. THESE are the things that give our hobby its bad name, and makes people not want us flying on there...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Isn't a range check a part of everyone's pre-flight? Cant blame equipment failure for aircraft loss if ya dont even check to see if the equipment before you use it. Sorry for your loss, but ya...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Either batteries are weak, or you had too much load (ie. servo binding), or a bad connection in the power circuit somewhere. The bad connector is less likely as neither plane was electric, so...
